How to Set Up H16 and MERGING HAPI MKII

Windows Setup Requirements

Before starting, install the following software on your Windows computer:

• Audiocom Controller (refer to H16-AIP product page for the latest version)
• Merging Audio Device (MAD) Driver v2.5.1 build 1871 (this is the version we have tested. You may try a later version).

Network Connection Setup

1. Connect Switch → HAPI MKII PRI.
2. Connect H16 AIP PRI → HAPI MKII SEC.
3. Connect Switch → Windows PC.

Audiocom Controller Configuration

1. Open Audiocom Controller.
2. Click Device Config.
3. Select the device H16 (Nuprime-a227-xxxx).
   Note: Both H16 and MCX800AD appear as Nuprime-a227-xxxx. Make sure to confirm which one is the H16 before proceeding.
4. Click Create/Delete.

Creating an AES67 Multicast

1. Select AES67.
2. Check the speaker channels you want to add:
   • For 5.1.2 setup, check 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 11, 12.
3. Click Create to generate the multicast.
4. Once created, it will appear at the location indicated by arrow 4 in the software.
5. Click EXIT to close.

ANEMAN Configuration

1. Open ANEMAN software.
2. Right-click on HAPI MKII and select Open Advanced Page.

In the advanced page:

1. Click Session sinks.
2. Click the plus (+) icon to create a new sink.
3. Set Source to Nuprime-a227-xxxx:16.
