Multi-Channel DAC Architecture
The NuPrime Fusion 8D redefines what’s possible in immersive audio. Built around a true multi-channel DAC architecture, it delivers the purity, precision, and dynamics demanded by both audiophiles and home theater enthusiasts. Unlike conventional AV receivers that rely on a single DSP-driven multi-channel DAC chip, the Fusion 8D takes a no-compromise approach – employing eight fully independent DAC channels, each with its own precision clock and dedicated power stage. This discrete design achieves exceptional channel separation, ultra-low noise, and stunning dynamic range, delivering a truly lifelike and immersive listening experience.
Advanced USB Audio Interface
An 8-channel USB controller manages asynchronous data transfer and converts the digital stream into ultra-precise I²S signals for the next stage of digital-to-analog conversion – ensuring bit-perfect playback from any high-resolution source.
Ultra high performance multi-channel DAC architecture

Each pair of channels is decoded by one of four clock-synchronized ESS9038K2M DACs, configured for dual-mono operation to maximize linearity and reduce distortion. The DACs’ differential current outputs feed into NSL-4562 optocouplers functioning as voltage-controlled resistors (VCRs), performing both I-V conversion and analog gain control simultaneously.
The resulting signals are then buffered through Burr-Brown OPA134UA op-amps, dedicated to each channel to minimize crosstalk and preserve the purity of the analog output. This design eliminates digital volume processing, maintaining the full dynamic range and micro-detail of the original recording — producing a sound that’s effortlessly natural and emotionally engaging.
True Balanced XLR Outputs

Eight channels of fully balanced XLR outputs ensure robust signal integrity across long cable runs and professional setups. Whether used for Dolby Atmos, multi-channel music, or studio playback, the Fusion 8D delivers unmatched precision and coherence.
Optimized Power Design for Absolute Purity

Separate onboard power for control, analog, and digital circuits reduces noise interference, improves signal integrity, enhances stability, and simplifies grounding — ensuring cleaner, more reliable performance in mixed-signal systems. The result is improved overall system performance, with each circuit operating optimally without the negative impact of cross-interference.
